Hall of Fame Shenanigans
One of the biggest disappointments I have had while learning about rock history is that Rush is not in the hall of fame. This band is a trio super group; there is no logical reason to keep them out of the hall of fame. They have influenced so many bands it only makes sense to have them inducted, they even exceed the requirements. With albums like Moving Picture, Hemispheres and 2112 who would think that by now that they still wouldn’t have a plaque? Geddy Lee is one of the best bassist/keyboardists in the rock business, Alex Lifeson has his own line of guitars from Gibson and created his sound, and if anyone mentions Neil Peart every rock fan thinks of the best drummer of all time. So really? Let’s keep denying one of the greatest rock bands in history their rightful place in the hall of fame.
